The Gigabit Ethernet Alliance is an open forum whose purpose is to promote industry cooperation in the development of 1000 Mbps Ethernet ("Gigabit Ethernet") cost-effective, interoperable solutions that are based on publicly available, non-proprietary open standards or specifications.

The Gigabit Ethernet Alliance is no longer accepting member registrations at this time.
